Did you know that here at Marion Machine, we can handle gyratory repairs of any size, including 54 x 74?  Not only can we handle size, but we also have the capability to repair broken or cracked shafts. Repairing the main shaft is extremely important since having a precise and consistent fit within the bores helps reduce overall vibration, which in turn extends the life of the entire crusher.  We can recondition all features on main shafts including both journals and the head center.

In addition to normal repairs, we are able to do custom work for jobs both large and small, specific to your unique needs.  Custom work, including general fabrication for close tolerance assemblies, tight tolerance machining and anything requiring welding or machining regardless of the application!   

Repairing Gyratory Crusher Fits 

We can’t stress enough the importance of maintaining manufacturer specs on your gyratory; particularly fits between the top shell and spider and the fit between top shell and bottom shell.  When these fits are not on tolerance, they can come out of balance causing breakage due to vibration. At Marion Machine, we help you avoid such disastrous situations by welding and machining the fits back to manufacture specification. In addition, if two or more parts are sent in to us for repair, we test fit them on site.
