Marion Milestones: 2018 Year in Review

After our acquisition at the start of 2018, we have completed several milestones! With the help of our friends at Mellott Company, we cleaned and reorganized our shop areas to make room for equipment and upcoming repairs. We also put together a before and after video to showcase our new look as Marion Machine!

2018 had several notable projects/repairs completed this year: 

• Morton Machine Rebuild: After many years of use, we made the decision to refurbish our Morton Machine. This machine is a crucial part of our repair process, giving us the capability to line bore parts, mill surfaces, and more. The rebuild will allow us to continue using the Morton for years of repairs to come! Click on the link to check out photos of the rebuild!

• Portable Line Boring Capabilities: This year we were able purchase a mobile line boring machine that allows us the capability to repair equipment on site. The ability to repair equipment on site will reduce downtime and cost for our customers. Contact us today to discuss your needs!

• 42 x 65 Gyratory Rebuild:  Early this fall we completed an entire bottom shell repair for our customer. We were able to ship the pieces back to their site and assist them with the reinstallation. Visit our original post and check out the reinstallation photos!
